How it all started

Our Founder, Martin Jones, decided to start his own automotive part specialist business in 1998. And so, Partsource was born - in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

We started by supplying Leyland and Volvo Olympian rear axle components, Gardner engine parts, and Voith DIWA items.

Whilst we’ve moved on from the two former areas, Voith has gone from strength to strength. (Have you heard of their new Electrical Drive System?)

Since opening, we’ve supported leading companies, including Stagecoach, in the bus and automotive industry. We’re proud to give the biggest names all the necessary assistance to get their vehicles back on the road.

In 2021, Martin’s son, Matthew, became the Managing Director of Partsource Ltd. Today, he’s continuing the company’s mission to become a leading UK supplier of bus and coach parts.
